And there were 2 Malay guys @ AMK SB HW seeing the faulty 501/502 depart for BSD. Was tat the 2 of u?

Anyway I didn't c anyone walking the train with a cam jus like how willis & his grp do

[EDIT] Anyways , I wasnt filming , as I just felt like joyriding it . I jus sat on the seats and freezing to death as the a/c is superrrr cold. And Ethan , are u a malay or a chinese too ? or others. Jus asking for easier spotting .

The train's gearbox in this case is for reducing the speed transmitted from the motor to the wheels. It is a one stage machinery, unlike cars, does not have multiple gears to play with. What is adjusted on the train is the motor's output speed, which can range up excess of 2000 rpm. Gears for commuter trains are normally short (eg. 6:1) while high speed trains long (eg 3:1).
