The artist impression of the Jurong Region Line rolling stock (Contract J151), that is shown on the LTA Facebook page, resembles the LRT Jakarta rolling stock, which is also manufactured by Hyundai Rotem.

In fact, I believe it is the same model as the LRT Jakarta rolling stock. Likewise for the type of track which the Jurong Region Line rolling stock will run on.

Except the minor differences, such as the Jurong Region Line tracks will have "automated track lubrication equipment" installed (to reduce the noise generated by the rolling stock), the Jurong Region Line viaducts will have noise barriers installed (to reduce the noise pollution impact on residents living along the Jurong Region Line, as well as protect the privacy of residents living along the Jurong Region Line), and the Jurong Region Line rolling stocks will have 1 additional door per side of a car, have different window design, and are driverless (unlike the LRT Jakarta rolling stocks which require driver).

Other than that, the Jurong Region Line rolling stock should be the same model as the LRT Jakarta rolling stock, which means the technical specifications in terms of engine and certain interior fixtures (such as the information panels design and the seats design) should be the same.

With regards to the Taipei Circular Line, the Circular Line rolling stock doors are 1.6 metres wide,[1] which are wider than the Jurong Region Line rolling stock doors which are 1.5 metres wide.[2]
