Ten Mile Junction closure
#1
I am not sure about the date yet but will you go there on the last day??

Btw, I think SMRT should do a two-car coupling once as the station never really uterlise the second set of doors for the second car due to lack of demand

Basically, Ten Mile Junction (TMJ) station will close starting from 4Q of this year, because of the renewal of the BPLRT system. We won’t know when the exact date Service C will be discontinued. Who knows, everyone, even I will also visit the station closer to the official date of TMJ station closure.

If I’m not wrong, based on my observation before, Service C are using 1 car all the while because of low demand. I’m not exactly sure whether Service C, has done 2 cars operation before?

Here’s a quote from LTA press release:
Termination of Service C

8.  Service C, which currently links the BPLRT to Junction 10, will cease operations permanently from the fourth quarter of this year. This will provide LTA and Bombardier with additional space to conduct the renewal works of the BPLRT system. More information will be provided to commuters and residents ahead of time.
