If HHPSDs are installed to prevent suicide, it will not work. Anyone who is determined to die my getting hit by a train can still climb over them if they want to. I think HHPSDs are more to prevent accidental falling onto the tracks, and dropping of stuff onto the tracks. They should install shorter ones too, like the sentosa express. That way, we still can feel the air when the trains come in. In my opinion, HHPSDs would be useful at crowded platforms or at interchanges. Punggol, Sengkang, Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Panjang stations should have HHPSDs...

Not necessarily HHPSDs can be installed at Punggol, Sengkang, Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Panjang stations, it can be installed at all LRT stations just in case there are too many people at the platform queuing up for trains just like morning peak hours.

For me, i support HHPSDs installed in LRT so that it's complement to MRT platforms which already installed the HHPSDs in every stations.

But if its installed at a not really used station, waste money sia! Put HHPSDs at non-crowded stations also waste money, and more things to maintain also. I think install at interchanges can already lah.

HHPSDs is to prevent suicide, what if someone commit suicide at the less crowded station. I know that is wasting money to install the HHPSD. But personal safety come first so that will not affecting the train services.

Agreed. Actually ah, only FHPSDs are of use. Anyone can climb over a HHPSD if they really want to die by getting bit by a train. Even if I want to die, I wont want to get hit by a train Dodgy

FHPSDs makes the stations less ventilation as installations of Air-Condition which cost $$. Until now, there is no cases on climbing over the HHPSDs on mainlines.
