I just hope it'll stop somewhere near Sunshine Place and go to CCK.

This will still save space...Smile

and also it should be cheaper...the cables would just cost lesser than the tunnel with all those drilling and filling and perhaps disasters...with cables modifications could be made to the current mrt building tracks and with the cable cost much lesser! Smile
Yours sincerely,

One things is the loading problem, what if the structure collapse when the whole station overloading?

They will never allow stations of appalling quality to be built, let alone commence operation. If passenger crowding alone can cause a structural failure, clearly the design shouldn't be considered.

Objects using suspended cables such as suspension bridges are actually more stable than you think. If the materials used are alright, the chances of a structural failure is thin.

If they use this method, is the first in the world using this type of method building the station? Not sure others countries using this method or not?

Cost. This is taxpayer's money - if they do this on a private line like SkyTrain or Sentosa Express, it's possible, but chances on a public project?

I wonder how the JUR NSL announcement will sound like ("Train service ends here. Cross over to Platform B/C for train service towards the city, Pasir Ris and Changi Airport. Proceed/Cross over to Platform F for train service towards Tuas Link. Proceed to the Jurong Region Line for train service towards West Coast, Jurong West and Jurong Industrial Estate."?)
