Not only North South Line, they also propose East-West Line as well.

For example, in Tokyo. They also use the name Tozai Line(East West Line) and Namboku Line(North South Line).

I feel the CRL Branch Line should be extended eastwards to Changi Village from Pasir Ris. Otherwise CV residents have to go to Loyang to change to CRL.

Foresee that only half of CRL trains will terminate at Pasir Ris while other half at Aviation Park during Off-Peak since it will have severely low demand.

I don't think it will be extended to Changi Village anytime soon, there aren't signs of SIL works in the area so it's not going to be built anytime together with the other contracts.

The CRL actually extends into Terminal 5 so I doubt they'll reduce frequencies once T5 is open.

I agree with you, all trains should terminate at Changi Airport T5 once it opens. Cause it is quite wasted to see trains going empty after Pasir Ris East before it is extended.

The Cross Island Line Western section will be completed by 2035.

Was looking through the recent draft master plan 2019, and picked up a few notable signs.
Other than the track and station layout for the JRL and CCL6, that will be discussed in their respective threads,

In LTA Press release, they only released station between CR2 Aviation Park Station and CR13 Bright Hill Station. Obviously CR1 will be Changi Terminal 5 as shown with the curve southwards from Aviation Park Station. The Changi East depot which has been announced prior, shows the rough track layout between Aviation Park Station and Changi T5 Station.

Furthermore, with some confirmation that the TEL will be extended to interchange at the future CRL Changi T5 Station and existing Expo and Changi T1-4 Stations, there is a bit of track that extends away from Sungei Bedok Station (circled in Red), seems to suggest they intend to leave an overrun for the above extension.
However the track depiction here is quite complicated and untidy, so it is difficult to ascertain whether they really are overrun or just the DTL tunnel between Xilin Station and Sungei Bedok Station.

Next, the masterplan for the North-East Region, seem to indicate that the CRL might be extended to connect Pasir Ris and Punggol, but that is not in Phase 1 plan. But here, circled in red, shows some planned overrun tracks extending just north of Pasir Ris station before Sungei Api Api Canal. That is where the tracks curve 90 degrees west to connect to Tampines North Station.
