Cross Island Line (CRL) / North Shore Line Discussion

I think this is getting too similar to London.

New lines have a LOT of branches. London's lines have tons of them too.

When London built a rail line crossing Central London, they didn't call it the Cross City Line. In fact, they even had a nice name for it.

The naming, i think Central Island Line or Central Line is more suitable.

IMO Central (Island) Line probably isn't the most feasible name, considering 'Central' often loosely refers to the CBD area while CRL serves the suburbs.

Centre Island Line sounds worse IMO. I still think island is the best....

CRL is somewhat like EWL in traversing the island (hence the name) but the former does not serve the CBD area. It may help alleviate heavy passenger loads along other lines (not just EWL) though.

Also the faster way to Pasir Ris from AMK which no need to bypass CCL and City Area. Currently the only direct bus service from AMK to Pasir Ris is 88.
