Future MRT map
#1
Here is a (speculative) future map of the MRT.

In this map u can see a couple of changes made to existing lines, such as the Sungei Kadut Stn between Yew Tee and Kranji Stns on the NSL, the Dhoby Ghaut - Promenade section of the CCL being part of the Holland Line (in light green), Changi airport T4 & T5 stns, and East Point stn on the CGL, a branch of the Punggol LRT from Teck Lee to Coney Island, as well as new lines such as the Johor Line (in black), the North Shore Line (in blue), the Tampines Line (in dark blue), and a few new LRT lines.

Feel free to comment on this pic.Wink

This map is only speculative future map and are outdated because the names of 29 stations of Circle Line and 35 station of Downtown Line are already outdated in this map and have been finalised. Obviously, this map will not be the map in 2020.

How is the London Tube map "more creative and organised"? Is it because of the "Travelcard Zones" in the background, the layout of the lines or the colours used to demarcate the lines (or any other reason not shown here)?

The Singapore Map has 16 MRT Lines and 10 LRT Lines.
The Tube Map has 13 Lines: 12 "MRT" and 1 "LRT".
I'm too lazy to count the stations.

LU has a thinner line, smaller station names and no alphanumeric code. Alphanumeric codes does nothing except create confusion.

No, alphanumeric codes do not cause confusion. Which passenger would actually look at the codes? It's not possible to have somebody coming up to you and asking, "How do I go to CC2?"

Also, CC1 Dhoby Ghaut to CC4 Promenade do not belong under the Holland Line (which is not likely to even materialise as a line itself)
