Not sure if this is a bug, but at 1:00, there is no doors closing display on the VFD.

Regarding the whole trial itself, does anyone know how this feature actually works on the train? As making the doors closing chime sound longer if there is any obstruction at the doorways definitely requires a sensor located at the train doors itself. But I don't see any and that what's peculiar to me.

And how would the TO know when to press the door close buttons in the TO cab? Are the train announcements audible in the cab too?

For the sensor thing, none of the trains have sensors to tell the TO if the door is being obstructed. The Cab will just show whether all the doors are closed fully and locked with a indicator. Should any one of the doors be obstructed, the indicator will tell indicate that the one or more doors are unlock, thus preventing the train from leaving the station..

For the chime, there was some adjustment done to allow the chime to stop playing when the doors are closed or play continuously for 20secs.

The T.O would be able to see the platform where passengers alight and board in the cab, and yes, the announcements you hear in the saloon car are also played in the cab.

If the TO can hear them, won't they also be able to detect soft or no announcements in the first place? Then we won't see any announcement problems reported in the Buzz. :X

Basically the main cabin itself.

Another difference: The pause between the first chime and the announcement of 'Doors are closing' is longer.
