I will keep you guys updated about the fan in pioneer. Thanks.

Pioneer, it is bulit but not operational. Taken Today.
Has anyone noticed about the "alternative" version of the BAF, for stations with low ceilings, at Buona Vista? They are almost done with the installation of fans at there. Hopefully the "miniature" version of the BAF is as powerful as the big ones. Big Grin
Just to add on, the installation of fans at Buona Vista has started quite some time ago.

Sorry the fans install is not Big Ass Fan. Its Rite Hite Fans. Also at bnv, its a blower.

Hi Scania96,
My apologies for using the wrong words. Did not think of the correct words when I was writing the above post. Tongue

So... Each elevated station of the NSL and EWL with 2 platforms each will have 4 fans in the future? Than what about EW4 Tanah Merah? Is it going to be 8? And Jurong East Station 12? but it looks like Tanah Merah has no space for the big fans.

Anyways, approx, how many days since from the day of installation will the fans be awaited for operation?

Will keep you guys updated on EW2 Tampines.

The number varies with the different stations. Stations like Buona Vista installed Jet Fans and Pioneer finished its 5th fan.

Is the other reason for the installation of fans is because, Singaporeans are complaining that the HHPSD's are trapping the wind from entering the stations?

There have been such complaints. LTA has confirmed that wind flow at some stations have also been severely disrupted.
