Freight in BVE?
#1
I wonder if BVE was used for freight operations before. Was there any developer that attempted to create a freight route for BVE?

What do you think of freights in BVE? A change and break from the normal passenger Point A to Point B services?

There are freight routes, but no shunting or whatsoever.

No one in this community will create a freight route imo. Reason being that Singapore is a small country and most freight services are being done by road.

Yes, KTM can be our best bet for aiding us in the development of freight trains and routes. Sadly, as of mid-2011, Tanjong Pagar Railway Station shutdown its operations and KTM shifted northwards to Woodlands Train Checkpoint.

Given our current scarce resources and aides for freight train development, most of us have to develop our own textures in order to develop a freight train or route in BVE. Even if it is successful, the route will most likely be fictional. As such, most developers will be naturally discouraged from developing any freight routes and will resume constructing less troublesome passenger intra-city routes and trains instead. You can try developing your own freight route if you want, but I have to warn you, it's not going to be easy.

There are such cases to be honest, but not in Asia.
